Position Overview
Successful State Farm Agent is seeking a qualified or aspiring professional to join their winning team for the role of Account Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member. We seek an energetic professional interested in advancing their insurance and financial career through value-based conversations and remarkable customer experience. The Account Representative is a midlevel position within our agency focused on forming and deepening customer relationships, providing insurance recommendations and reviews, and improving customer retention. You should have 6+ months of experience with insurance and the ability to perform a financial review (a track record of successful sales performance is desired) for the Account Representative position; without this experience, please apply for the Account Associate Position. Account Associates normally transition to Account representatives in 6-12 months.
Responsibilities
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing and sales goals through calls, referrals, events, and appointments.
  • Be committed to providing a remarkable customer experience through appointments with customers in order to review policies for their alignment with the customer's goals and make appropriate insurance and financial recommendations.
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

  • $40,000 Base Salary plus (producer licenses required, $1000-$1500 Tenure raises each year based on licensing)

  • Hiring Bonus up to $1,000 ($250/license)
Requirements
  • Property & Casualty Insurance Producer License (must have prior to starting; weeklong class and state test. Visit ALDOI.GOV for more information)
  • Life & Health Insurance Producer License
  • Ability to communicate the State Farm value and review quotes with potential customers.
  • Ability to perform a needs-based insurance and financial review appointment.
  • Achieve mutually agreed upon activity goals (sales activity that is 100% in your control) to drive new business.
  • Act ethically in your actions with customers, your peers, and the agency (we have a 0% tolerance for unethical behavior)
